Primarily intended for use with a hammer to chip old putty out of window frames. This knife can be used for many other purposes. The strong forged carbon steel blade tapers from the 5/16” at the back, to 7/32” (8mm to 5.5mm) at the cannel. The cannel is machine ground to a fine cutting edge. The blade is hardened at the cutting edge, but the back edge is left unhardened to make it safe for striking with a hammer. The two leather scales are fixed to the tang by three rivets.
