The MyMart™ Send To Phone widget

The MyMart™ Send To Phone widget is a small piece of HTML code that you can add to your website. It allows your customers to ask for a link to your mobile shop to be sent to their phone, which is much more convenient than typing the address on a phone keypad.

Adding the widget to your site

To add the widget to your site, you first need to have a MyMart™ shop and keyword set up. If you have not yet done this, please follow our instructions to create your MyMart™ shop.

When your shop is set up, go to your account widgets page. The code for your widget is displayed, copy this to your clipboard.

You will need to paste the widget code into the source for any HTML page to which you want to add the widget. To do this you will need to use an HTML editor. If you don’t manage your site yourself, contact your web designer.

Charging and message limits

Once you’ve added your widget, customers can request that a link is sent to their phone. Each time the widget is used, you will be billed 20p, just as if the user had sent your keyword to 60067.

To guard against spam, no one phone can receive more than 20 messages per hour. In addition, the send to phone widget respects the limit you set on outgoing messages in your account. This limit specifies the maximum amount of messages that can be sent per month by MyMart on your behalf.
