Helpful answers to questions you have asked. How much do text messages cost?
- Sending a text message to MyMart™ will cost the same as sending to one of your friends (which depends on your operator and package).
- Text messages sent from MyMart™ cost your standard network rate.
Where did my text message go?
- When you send a message to us, it first goes to your operator’s systems, then to our operator’s systems, then to our servers.
- Sometimes delays occur within the operator’s systems. There may be a fault or there may be very high traffic.
- We always respond immediately when we receive a message, but your message may be delayed for a few minutes or even a few hours, depending on the operators involved.
How much does it cost to post an item?
- During our beta launch, MyMart™ does not charge for items to be listed on the site.
- Photo messages vary in price from operator to operator and depend on your package, but you can expect to pay around 30p to send a photo.
- Surfing the internet on your phone also varies in price, internet use is generally billed by how much you download rather than how long you spend browsing. MyMart™ have made sure that creating a listing is as easy and quick as possible, so that you download fewer pages.
Will you send me lots of text messages?
- By default we’ll send you messages when you receive a bid or your item is bought. You can change this from the notifications page of your account.
